The AdEx Staking Portal, a key part of the AdEx ecosystem, got a new look, and we are excited to show it to you! This fresh look isn’t just for show—it shows our dedication to enhancing our users’ experience and making everything we offer even smoother and more user-friendly.

AdEx Staking Portal: evolution & new look

Live since 2020, the AdEx Staking Portal allows ADX token holders to stake their tokens and earn a share of the network validator fees. The launch of the staking portal also marked AdEx’s entry into the DeFi space and expanded how the ADX token can be used. Since then, the staking portal has become a vital part of the AdEx ecosystem, with over 57 million ADX tokens staked in Pool Tom and over 5 million in the Loyalty Pool, or in other words, a substantial percentage of all ADX tokens are staked.

After redesigning our website and the AdEx platform, it's the perfect time to refresh the look of our staking portal, too:

You will notice that there is more than one staking pool. Continue reading to learn more about each of them:

Tom Pool

Tom Pool is the official validator for the AdEx platform. It offers a compelling 4.31% APY (annual percentage yield) for ADX token holders, making it an excellent choice for maximizing token investments and growing earnings. The portal provides two flexible options for accessing ADX funds and rewards:

Standard withdrawal: Earnings (and/or staked tokens) can be withdrawn with a 20-day unbonding period, ensuring the staking process's security and stability.
Instant withdrawal: For those needing immediate access to funds, an instant withdrawal option is available. With this option, stakers receive 70% of the rewards (and/or staked tokens), while the remaining 30% is redistributed among the other participants in the pool.

Loyalty Pool

The Loyalty Pool is currently inactive for deposits but was designed to broaden the appeal of $ADX staking by offering a unique option to stake without the 20-day bonding period. This approach successfully encouraged more $ADX holders to transfer their tokens from exchanges into staking pools, boosting demand for $ADX in the growing DeFi space. While the Loyalty Pool is now closed for new deposits, participants in this pool can still withdraw their rewards.

How to stake

Staking can be done directly via the AdEx Staking Portal by connecting the wallet that holds the available ADX tokens - be it Ambire, another wallet via WalletConnect, or using your Trezor. For those using Ambire Wallet, ADX staking is also integrated directly into the wallet. A step-by-step tutorial on how to stake is available here.

The ADX token

ADX is an ERC-20 token on the Ethereum blockchain with various utilities within the AdEx ecosystem. It is listed on major exchanges like Binance, Uniswap, and Kraken and has reached an all-time high of over $3. Learn more about the use cases of the ADX token:

Platform discounts: Advertisers using ADX tokens for campaigns receive a significant fee discount, paying only 4%campaign fees instead of the standard rate of 7%.
Rewards for validators: ADX holders can stake their tokens to become validators within the AdEx ecosystem to helo maintain the integrity and security of the platform.
Governance: Staked ADX token holders have the privilege to participate in governance voting thus playing an active role in the future of AdEx.
